Natural sand has an ideal shape for use as fine aggregate in concrete. The natural sand particles are well-rounded. It has poor permeability, of which leads to casting defects such as holes and pores.
Please note that the stones are measured at the narrowest point. The sizes used on the page therefore refer to the technical measurement. Because the gravel is measured at the narrowest point, the actual size may vary slightly.
