This product is a blend of Portuguese and Norwegian marble.
Characteristics:
Appearance: Blossom Marble is known for its delicate, flower-like patterns and veins that often resemble blossoms, hence the name. The color palette can range from whites and pinks to grays and other soft hues.
Texture: Typically, it has a smooth and polished surface, though it can also be honed or given other finishes.
Durability: As a type of marble, it is relatively soft compared to other stones like granite, which makes it susceptible to scratching and etching but also easier to carve and shape.
Formation:
Marble forms from the metamorphism of limestone, a sedimentary rock. Under extreme heat and pressure, the calcite in the limestone recrystallizes to form the interlocking calcite
crystals that give marble its characteristic appearance.
